Comments: Does blog marketing undermine the credibility it depends on?

No, you are not getting lathered over nothing. I've started to notice whether blog writers have "disclosure statements" (or equivalent). If they do, and if they seem to honour them, I find myself taking what they say with more seriousness than would otherwise be the case. Of course someone who is disingenuous, semi-corrupt, whatever, could have a disclosure statement, and whilst appearing to honour it, actually be using the blog as a marketing vehicle. Not much you can do about that except be watchful.

Just droppin to say that you have to be little more careful with blogs.

it's true that at times their authenticity can be questioned as they can be used as marketing tools by third party.
