I quick thought on this point. My young home educated children get alot of time working as a team. But as adults we dismiss it as play. Many home educated children get alot of free play time - often organising a battle or war, or organising a home in a game of mums and dads.

Great interview. I have just recently beome interested and seriously considering home education for my son. he is 3 years now. but I gues I would be one of those 'working class' parents who does not have a privalaged background or private education. Not that this puts me off, but perhaps an insight into how backgrounds influence the quality of Homeschooling if at all.... wealth, culture, race, family set ups etc.
